The Brabantse Kouterstocht, 35 km

Route in connection with the Gordelfestival.
The Brabantse Kouters is a vast area encompassing 11 municipalities. It is located northwest of Brussels and offers you a wealth of sights and nature.

From Hofstade:
The route leads through the quiet villages of Elewijt, Perk, and Melsbroek and through the fields towards the focus municipality of Vilvoorde. An excellent rest point with numerous activities at Steenkaai.

It continues along the Zenne towards Verbrande Brug, then turns onto the cycle path of Willebroekse Vaart to head to Eppegem and again along the Zenne arriving at the Bloso Center Hofstade via Zemst and Weerde.

From Vilvoorde:
You start at Steenkaai before first taking the cycle path along the Zenne. You pass through Grimbergen and Zemst, reaching the Schranshoeve.

The next rest point is then the Bloso Center Hofstade. Here, you can explore the sports villages or continue directly through Steenokkerzeel and Machelen to end up back at Steenkaai.
