The Sint-Pietersberg line in Maastricht is a brand new mountain bike line. It is the first truly cross-border route in South Limburg. The Belgian route (sign: white with red/black mountain bike sign) is relatively simple and has only one true veal bite.

The route on Dutch territory (Rondje Observant: yellow sign with green mountain bike sign) leads entirely to the Sint-Pietersberg of Natuurmonumenten and is a technical but also difficult route. There are difficult pieces of forest and the road is steep in places. This piece meets the requirements and wishes of the modern mountain biker and also leads to one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands near one of the most beautiful (historic) cities in the Netherlands. At Chalet d'n Oberservant you can then enjoy a drink or a snack.

The routes are marked in one direction for reasons of clarity and safety. The routes are located in such a way that the mountain biker gets his money's worth, but the most vulnerable area, forests and nature reserves are spared. So, a friendly request not to deviate from the routes and never drive through the vegetation.
