#200413 - Bloquia, 7 sources, Cocrou and Ocquière***

Magnificent varied walk through beautiful landscapes between Gistoux and Corroy. To be done in both directions, the perspectives are completely different! Departure from the Bloquia mill, an old paper mill that has successively housed two restaurants, the last one closing in 2015. Crossing the Woods and the Papeteries neighborhood. Beautiful descent*** into a wooded hollow, the place called "Les 7 sources". These springs form the "Ry des Papeteries" which flows into (and not under..) the Train at the height of the Bloquia. Climbing back up to the plateau from which there is a beautiful view*** in 360°. One can see the bell tower of the church of Corroy-le-Grand which seems to emerge from the fields. We cross this beautiful village via very nice little paths, including the Postman's Path**. Then, we pass near the former station* of the local train that once connected Incourt to Courcelles. On the left, one can see the Corroy castle-farm, a beautiful complex dating back to the 17th century currently operated by André de Dorlodot as a farm and prestigious venue for organizing events and seminars. We then take a picturesque path that follows the old local train route and runs alongside the stream Le Train to arrive at the magnificent Vallon d'Ocquière***, a hollow bordered by wooded hills. On Ocquière Street, we pass to the right the location of former watercress beds at the bottom of the Manypré neighborhood.
