The Belgian border by racing bike (1447km 11250hm)

During the Ascension week in 2020, I cycled this route for the benefit of "Kom Op Tegen Kanker" (as an alternative to the canceled #de1000km cycling tour, #samentrappentegenkanker). This new route is a smooth trajectory as close as possible(*) to the national border, but still rideable with a road bike. In Antwerp, I followed the border along the Scheldt with the ferry from Kallo to Lillo. (*) Since Belgium was in lockdown due to Covid-19 (#corona), the border could not be crossed anywhere (to NL, D, L, F). Exception: upon approval from the police patrol, I was allowed to go back and forth to Baarle-Hertog. I completed the route in 6.5 days in bikepacking style (4x hotel, 2x starry sky).
