Beautiful walk starting at the church of 'Kerkhoven'. From the spacious parking lot, one heads towards the 'Canal of Beverlo'. Upon reaching the canal, one sees the 'Yacht Club De Blauwe Reiger'. The walk continues towards the bridge, an iron and wood bridge, which one crosses to follow the beautiful canal on the other bank for approximately 2 km. Then, one crosses the canal back to walk towards 'Gelderhorsten' and towards 'Kattenbos'. The Kattenbos is followed along the edge of the forest. The Kattenbos is left behind to reach the 'Domeinbos Pijnven' along hardened roads, which is also followed along the edge of the forest. Then, one makes the loop back by walking via the streets to the church of Kerkhoven.
