Gröden is a municipality in the southern Brandenburg district of Elbe-Elster, about fifty kilometers north of the Saxon state capital Dresden.
It is located in the south of Schraden and is the administrative seat of the Schradenland office. In the southern part of the municipality, at the border with Saxony, lies Heidehöhe, the highest topographical point of the state of Brandenburg.
