Farschweiler is a local community in the district of Trier-Saarburg in Rhineland-Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality association of Ruwer, which has its administrative seat in Waldrach.
Farschweiler is located in the meadow valley of a gently sloping side arm of the Feller creek, between the cities of Trier and Hermeskeil, at the northwestern edge of the Osburger Hochwald, part of the Hunsrück low mountain range and on the edge of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park.
