Favoritepark

The Favoritepark is a park in Ludwigsburg that surrounds the Favorite Palace. Once used as a pheasantry, it is now a popular destination and local recreational area with around 150,000 visitors annually. It has been a nature reserve since 1937, making it the oldest in the Ludwigsburg district.
The Favoritepark, which is approximately 72 hectares large and completely fenced, is located north of the city center of Ludwigsburg. To the south, the Favoritepark directly borders the Blooming Baroque with its main entrance, separated only by Marbacher Straße, which is crossed by a pedestrian bridge. Another entrance is located in the northwest of the park near the Favoritepark S-Bahn station on line 4. A third access point is on the east side of the park in the Hoheneck district.
