The Gisela Lake is a lake east of the village of Plötzky in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. There are various other small lakes in the vicinity. Only a few meters east is the Edersee.
The lake, surrounded by forest, was formed as a result of the mining of quartzite rock. In 1923, however, mining was stopped. The lake, which is located in the district of Plötzky, reaches a depth of up to 20 meters and has a surface area of about 5600 m². In the vicinity of the lake, a local recreation area has been created, which is mainly characterized by long-term camping and arbor properties.
