Kirchmöser

Kirchmöser is a district in the western part of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel. Its industrial area reflects the German history of the last 100 years.
The core of the district is located on a peninsula in the Havel lakes in the western part of the city of Brandenburg and is divided into the areas Kirchmöser West, Kirchmöser Ost, and Kirchmöser Dorf, the historical village center. Additionally, the settlements Bergenhof and Gränert belong to the district. A ring of lakes surrounds the area: Wusterwitzer See, Wendsee, Plauer See, and Möserscher See. On the peninsula itself, the Heilige See occupies a significant area. The glacially formed high plateau of the Karower Platte reaches close to Kirchmöser Dorf. This includes the Kirchmöseraner Mühlenberg.
