The house at Schloßstraße 14 in Potsdam is a listed building. This is where the Potsdam Casino is located.
The classical building was built between 1748 and 1754 by the architect Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff on the west side of the stables of the Potsdam City Palace. Frederick the Great expanded Breite Straße from the old city palace with its impressive buildings into a boulevard. The houses at Schloßstraße 13 and 14 were built as end buildings and as a symmetrical gate-like enclosure on Breite Straße. The restoration took place in 1977-82.
