The Dauner Viaduct is a former railway bridge of the Wengerohr–Daun railway line near Daun. Today, the Maare-Mosel cycle path runs over the viaduct. The bridge offers a charming view of the town of Daun.
The Dauner Viaduct was built between 1907 and 1909 during the construction of the Wengerohr-Daun railway line. Passenger traffic was suspended in 1981, and in 1988, with the cessation of freight traffic, the line was closed. By 1990, the tracks had already been removed. In August 2000, a cycle path was finally opened on the former railway line.
