The Marxzell Motor Museum is a private transport and technology museum with over 3600 square meters of exhibition space in Marxzell near Karlsruhe.
The museum was opened in 1968 in a former sawmill in the then Pfaffenrot district of Marxzell by Bernhard Reichert and has been family-owned ever since. The beginnings of the Reichert collection go back to the year 1958. Bernhard Reichert initially collected cars, locomotives, trams, and bicycles on his private grounds in the Durlach district of Karlsruhe. When Bernhard Reichert passed away in 1984, his widow Klara and his two sons continued the museum.
