The whale in Vegesack is a monument in Bremen-Vegesack. It was erected in 1978 in the pedestrian zone of Gerhard-Rohlfs-Straße and is listed in the list of monuments and statues of the city of Bremen.
The bronze monument was designed and produced by the Worpswede sculptor Uwe Häßler in 1980, after the first pedestrian zone in the district was established here in 1975. The whale is a gift from the Sparkasse Bremen and therefore stands in front of their branch.
