Holzhausen is a village and a former municipality in the district of Lippe, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The district consists of Holzhausen and Sylbach.
Holzhausen is located to the south, about seven kilometres outside the city centre of Salzufl. It borders in the west on the district of Wülfer-Bexten, in the north on the districts of Ehrsen-Breden and Schötmar, in the east on the district of Grastrup-Hölsen, in the south on the town of Lage and in the southwest on the community of Leopoldshöhe. The border to Leopoldshöhe is formed by the Werre, which flows naturally here.
