Goitzschesee - Circular path

Short Description

The circular route provides a good overview of the changes that the cultural landscape of Goitzsche has experienced in recent decades, making it the largest landscape art project in the world in terms of area.

Description

On the northwestern part of the trail, you will find the city harbor of Bitterfeld, the Bitterfeld waterfront, the Villa am Bernsteinsee, and the gauge tower with a pier. There are many opportunities to linger here.

To the south, you can experience the natural Goitzschewald. In addition, there are two beautiful viewpoints over the landscape at Sonnentalblick and Feldherrenhügel.

In addition to the Goitzsche Lake circular path, there is also the Supplementary Path. This path is approximately 16 km long and runs through the area of the small lakes of Goitzsche. Here you will pass the Holzweißiger Ost-See, Ludwigsee, Neuhauser See, and Paupitzscher See.
On side paths, you can visit Pomonas Garden and the Guardians of Goitzsche.

The cycle path is passable in both directions.
