A varied, challenging quality tour with great places to stop for refreshments. Several fountains, the freely accessible cave chambers on the Eichertsfelsen rock and, last but not least, the managed huts with attractive outdoor areas make the tour very attractive.

The hut hiking trail is a varied, but also challenging circular hiking trail with lovely places to stop for refreshments. In addition to nature, the huts along the way are the dominant theme of the tour, which leads along forest and meadow paths as well as forest and field paths. In addition to culinary delights, this tour is not short on scenic attractions. Steep forest and meadow paths wind their way through untouched nature, and fabulous views are the reward for the exertions along the way.

The Eichertsfelsen rock is impressive with its small cave and a beautiful view of the ponds in the Laichweihertal valley. The Christkönigsbrunnen and Horstenbrunnen fountains are particularly charming and can be reached via narrow paths. The Hochscheid farm, a Demeter farm with a hiker's hut, is located at an altitude of over 400 m and regularly hosts concerts on Sundays.A place of reflection and quiet contemplation is the lovingly designed Mariengrotte in a small side valley of Oberwürzbach.

It is possible to extend the hiking trail via an extra loop via the Kahlenberg and the Kahlenberghütte. The loop has a length of approx. 3.5 km. Here you can find the route description.
