First Stage “Berlin-Usedom Cycle Path”: Berlin - Biesenthal

The first stage of the Berlin-Usedom Cycle Path is 41 kilometre long and takes you from the centre of Berlin to Biesenthal. From the Palace Park you continue to the Mauerpark park and from there along the Panke to Bernau near Berlin with its medieval town centre. There are a few stretches with paved field and forest paths. There are only short passages, where cyclists get into contact with motor traffic on main roads or when going through towns and villages. Within the State of Brandenburg, the whole cycle path is fully developed and signposted. Continuous signposting is also provided in Berlin.
