Planetary Trail

The Planetary Trail in Sonnewalde represents a model of our solar system on a scale of one to one billion. This means that you will have travelled approximately 750,000 kilometres with each step you take, which equates to twice the distance between the Earth and the moon. The scale applies both to the distance of the planets from the sun and to the size of the sun and planets. The Planetary Trail provides an overview of the huge distances of our planets in the solar system.
At the same time, visitors can visit the town of Sonnewalde. The walk begins directly in front of the palace and passes old ruins of the tower.
