Along the way, one thing becomes clear: craft and nature go hand in hand. Where the grinders once lived, visitors are now treated to authentic cuisine. Particularly worth trying is Bergische Kaffeetafel (coffee and snacks).
With a little luck, you can watch grinders at work at Wipperkotten. But even if not, this structure dating back to the 17th century is well worth a visit.
