The water of the Rickenbach creek plunges into the Scheidegger Wasserfällleni over two mighty rock steps: the two nearby waterfalls are 22 meters and 18 meters high and can be admired from several vantage points. On the descent to the waterfalls, the view opens up to the Rohrach Gorge, which is up to 200 meters deep and enjoys special protection status as the largest nature reserve in the district of Lindau.

Water games
Children get their money's worth at the small animal zoo and the newly created water playground above the waterfall: here they can build dams, marvel at a water wheel or simply splash around in the water to their heart's content. The information on transporting water with the help of a hydraulic ram is aimed more at adults. This old, almost forgotten water technology has been brought back to life in the Scheidegg waterfalls and supplies the equipment in the playground with water.

Tour no. 1 and no. 2
Those who would like to combine a visit to the Scheidegg waterfalls with a circular hike can choose between two tours: On the hike to the Hasenreuter waterfall (tour no. 1), you can admire another waterfall worth seeing, while the route to the Waldsee lake (tour no. 2) invites you to swim in the moorland lake and visit the reptile zoo.</p
