The new pedestrian bridge over the Geierlayschleife in the Hunsrück is the longest in Europe with its 360 meters. She hangs about a hundred meters above the gorge, and attracts several hundred visitors every day. It is a good 3 hours drive from Brussels. Wanderlust dotted a trail (11 km) that starts at the Geierlay visitor center in Mörsdorf, crosses the suspension bridge, then traverses the Geierlayschleife, and finally returns to Mörsdorf via the plateau. Mörsdorf and the ridges between Cochem and Kastellaun are also known for their wind energy. You can not look next to the mills.
