The route can be started either from the parking lot at Bøgested Rende or from the parking lot at the old Redningsvej right out to the coastal road. You can therefore divide the trip into several parts and take the full length in small pieces. The route varies greatly in terrain, as it goes from dune top to dune top, where you can enjoy absolutely spectacular views. The trail system winds through the dense mountain pine thicket, which has a jungle-like nature but in a Nordic style. During your trip, you may also be lucky enough to see descendants of the first sand stabilization plantings if you are interested in the area's history. If the opportunity arises, you can also camp out in nature by using one of the two shelters in Tvorup Plantation, and wake up to the scent of fresh morning nature. The route requires you to be a good walker, as it features many changes in elevation, large roots, and narrow passages, which also makes it an exceptionally beautiful trip.
