Special conditions
Canoe and kayak sailing is allowed on large parts of Søndersø as well as in Nørresø. In the other lakes, sailing is not allowed.

Landing is primarily recommended at Hestø, Fruerø, and Præstø, which are owned by Lolland Municipality, as well as at the Nature School.
Borgø is owned by Engestofte Manor, here it is allowed to walk on the established paths according to the posted signs, but overnight stays on the island are not permitted. The other islands are privately owned and landing is not allowed. There are very variable wind conditions on Søndersø - from almost calm to shortly after blowing strongly.
