Montpedrós is a mountain with an altitude of 348 meters located between the municipalities of Santa Coloma de Cervelló and Torrellas de Llobregat in the Bajo Llobregat region, in the province of Barcelona. The summit belongs to the municipality of Santa Coloma de Cervelló.
The summit of Montpedrós, viewed from the East or the West, can be observed to have a flat shape, like that of a volcano. This is due to the fact that in ancient times it was a watchtower fortification, supposedly to prevent the entry of the Saracens into the so-called Hispanic March.
