Itinerary description:

Flengi, Gradina, Marasi, Stanići, Sveti Lovreč, Šušnjići, Radmani, Dračevac, Fuškulin and Funtana are villages through which the trail on two wheels called Olive Groves, Vineyards and Gardens of Vrsar passes. It is a trail that offers a perfect chance for a family excursion or just for the cycling pleasure for those who enjoy peace and silence on the road. Our itinerary starts in front of the Pineta hotel in Vrsar and with relatively small number of kilometres, the route passes along the side roads with low intensity traffic. On the other hand, the gourmet offer is extremely rich. The restaurants, taverns and wineries along the way offer tasteful delicacies and top quality wines. Special charm to this trail is given by cycling along fertile fields where local people grow vegetables that can be found at the local markets and on the tables of the nearby restaurants. 

Technical specifications:

With regard to the configuration, the most demanding part of the trail are the first three kilometres on leaving Vrsar and at the very end of the trail on your return to Vrsar. The rest of the 33.6 kilometre long route passes through gently curving areas and to complete them there is no need for any special gear ratio adjustments. The trail should be conquered by those who rarely ride a bike or are not physically prepared. The total altitude difference is 250 metres with the highest point being at 199 metres and lowest at only 1 metre above sea level. This, completely asphalted section, can be completed with a pleasant, one hour and 30 minute ride.
