Every year the community of Muntisa organizes the procession of Saint San Francesco di Paola, which brings together many believers and visitors every year.
The beautiful statue of San Francesco di Paola appears from the church at Porta Carmine at 3 p.m. with bells and the sounds of the music band in the background. The procession then moves through the main streets of Erice , accompanied by many believers. One of the most beautiful and meaningful moments is certainly the passage through the Balio gardens where Saint Nicholas is turned towards the fields below as a sign of blessing.
