Middachten is mentioned for the first time in the year 1190. Although the castle Middachten has its origins in the early Middle Ages, the current form dates from the late 17th century. Because Middachten has never been sold, but has passed from one generation to another, it has remained so ‘complete’. Middachten is also furnished with the original inventory.
