Exaten is the name of an estate of 141 hectares, located southeast of Baexem. Exaten is also the name of the castle on the estate.
Castle Exaten
The estate is managed by the Limburgs Landschap foundation. The estate was sold in 1997 to the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers and is currently used as an asylum seekers' center. This castle is not accessible to visitors.
In Estate Exaten you will find Castle Exaten. Admire the 141-hectare estate on foot or by bike. However, the castle cannot be visited.
