This bike route through Brunssum offers a surprising introduction to the history of Limburg. Along the way, you discover remarkable archaeological sites that together tell the story of Limburg. With the help of the Archeo Route Limburg and the accompanying app, you experience history in a unique way. At three locations along the route, a virtual archaeologist appears to take you back to the region's past. Through video and augmented reality, you see what once happened here.
The route is easy to follow thanks to the cycling junction network, allowing you to enjoy the surroundings at a relaxed pace. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to stop for a cup of coffee or a short break. This journey combines nature, culture, and technology, inviting you to experience South Limburg in a different way.
