Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Beekdaelen. This route is named after the Dutch diplomat Lambert, count d'Ansembourg, who died unexpectedly in 2007, in Amstenrade called 'der graaf' for short.

The route starts at the unprecedented splendor of Amstenrade Castle in the Netherlands and leads past avenues and villages that are full of Limburg culture and history, past nature, meadows and fields, along low stream valleys and high views.

The route is in two parts. You can turn off in Merkelbeek to the starting point at Amstenrade Castle.

The route can be followed via the white ring posts and white painted poles. Under the download button you can also find a separate route description. Parking is available opposite Amstenrade Castle. In Oirsbeek and Merkelbeek you can go for a cup of coffee.
