Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Vaals. This is a walking route for large and (especially) small. Discover the Heuvelland and learn about half-timbered houses, cows and the Geul. Every sleuth who answered the questions correctly has earned something tasty.

During the walk there are some simple tasks to fulfill and when the little sleuths have fulfilled all the assignments, a small tasty snack awaits at the finish in Hotel Vijlerhof. Vijlen is located at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level and is therefore the highest church village in the Netherlands.

This family walk leads through surrounding hamlets and hamlets such as Hilleshagen, Elzet, Rott and Melleschet.

Parking is possible at the Vijlerhof in Vijlen (Hilleshagerweg 2).
