Cabourg est une commune française située dans le département du Calvados, région Normandie. Ville de villégiature de Marcel Proust qui aimait résider dans « son » Grand Hôtel, la commune est une importante station balnéaire au bord de la Manche et a été un lieu de rendez-vous de la grande bourgeoisie européenne, principalement française, anglaise, belge, suisse et russe durant la Belle Époque et l'entre-deux-guerres. Son front de mer se couvre d'hôtels dans les années 1920. Elle est peuplée de 3 558 habitants, les Cabourgeais.
