Il Castello di Sandenburg è un castello olandese situato a Langbroek (comune di Wijk bij Duurstede) nella provincia di Utrecht. Fa parte della proprietà dallo stesso nome.
Sandenburg si trova lungo il Langbroekerwetering. Il castello è menzionato per la prima volta nel 1391: in quell'anno venne ereditato da Jan van Zijl. Nel 1792, la torre abitativa fu acquistata da Gijsbert Carel Cornelis Jan Baron van Lynden. Tra il 1861 e il 1865, F.A.C. Conte van Lynden van Sandenburg fece ampliare il castello all'attuale forma dall'architetto utrechtese Samuel Adrianus van Lunteren. Il castello è ancora abitato privatamente dalla famiglia Lynden van Sandenburg.
Dietro al castello si trova un aranceto, dove piante speciali trascorrevano in passato l'inverno. L'aranceto è affittato come luogo per matrimoni e eventi. [3] Il vecchio stalla, il rimessaggio delle carrozze e il piano superiore del castello ospitano oggi delle aziende.
Il poeta Gerrit Achterberg nacque nel rimessaggio delle carrozze di Sandenburg.
Una parte della strada provinciale N229 tra Wijk bij Duurstede e Werkhoven porta il nome del precedente proprietario del castello: 'Graaf van Lynden van Sandenburgweg'.
