Pinerolo er en by og kommune i Metropolitanbyen Turin, Piemonte, det nordvestlige Italien, 10 kilometer sydvest for Turin ved floden Chisone. Lemina-torrenten har sin kilde ved grænsen mellem Pinerolo og San Pietro Val di Lemina.
Arkæologiske rester fundet i centrum af Pinerolo i begyndelsen af 1970'erne vidner om menneskelig tilstedeværelse i området i forhistorisk tid. Resterne af den romerske nekropolis Dama Rossa, der blev fundet under arbejde for Pinerolo-Turin motorvejen i 2003, viser, at området på det tidspunkt var sæde for landbrugsaktiviteter.
