Wiesing is located in the central Lower Inn Valley north of the Inn, at the entrance to the Zillertal, at the southern foot of the Rofan Mountains. The southern border is formed by the Inn at an elevation of just over 500 meters. To the north, the land rises to nearly 2000 meters, with the highest elevation being the Ebner Joch. The municipality is situated in the district court area of Schwaz.
