Ski Val de Wanne is the longest in Belgium (1 km). At the right there is room to slide down with a sled and enjoy the snow.
The angle of the slope varies between 15% and 30%. The highest point is at 508m and the lowest is 380m.
There are two ski tows.
You can also go to Val de Wanne with a sled, because to the right of the slope is a separate descent made from skiers. Due to technical limitations, snowboarders are currently not welcome on the slopes. There is a ski instructor present to teach beginners the first tricks.
Parking is free

In 2012, the ski resort got a new operator and the ski slope was adapted and improved.
The company that used to run the ski slope Val de Wanne had filed the books. The court in Verviers has declared a bankruptcy, putting an end to a longstanding saga in which the disputed ski slope did not get the necessary licences.
Antwerp artist Ricky Mollin, a former ski champion, wanted to start the operation in 2004 but encountered heavy opposition from the neighbors. He was to install snow cannons and an ingenious refrigeration system and build a car park with 1,000 spaces, representing an investment of some 10 million euros. But a local non-profit organisation went to court against the plans. The neighbours feared damage to their homes.
The Walloon region and the municipality of Trois-Ponts were also opposed, Mollin even stepped to the Council of State at some point. At the end of 2011 it seemed that the exploitation permit would be in order, but the Antwerper had already started a similar track in the neighbouring Lierneux (Le Monty ski slope) in the meantime. Mollin had already made it clear that he was not sure that he would still run the track in Trois-Ponts.
