Here you have a beautiful view of Braine-le-Château, located in the distinct valley of the Hene of Haine (fr). It is a tributary of the Scheldt. The Hène rises on the Plateau of Anderlues in the Belgian Hainaut, flows from Nimy to the Henekom and flows into the Scheldt at Condé-sur-l'Escaut, just across the French border between Tournai and Mons. The watercourse gave its name to the former county, now the province of Hainaut (French: Hainaut).
