“From 1981, Gaston & Leo really broke through with the general public, thanks to their New Year's shows on TV. From then on, they performed so often that they needed a manager at some point. That became René Vlaeyen. Today, we mainly know Gaston and Leo from their sketches and TV shows, but they also acted in many farces or comedies. They traveled across the country with these and always performed here in the Arenberg Theater as well. Some examples are Slisse builds in '79, Boeing Boeing in '81, and What a soup in '86 and '89.”
