Adventurous walk through the giant's tomb, a suspension bridge, the Semois, rocks and various viewpoints.

In May 2023, we visited Rochehaut. The many viewpoints, the ladder ride and the photos of the area caught our attention. We spread out the walk we wanted to do over two days, but you can also connect them in one walk. The first walk of 11 kilometers is "Ladder walk via Rochehaut, Frahan and Poupehan". The second walk is a walk through the giant's tomb, a suspension bridge, the Semois, rocks and various viewpoints. We park the car near the viewpoint on the giant's tomb.

After the descent, we pass an old mill that now serves as a B&B. A nice place for a picnic by the river. After a short walk, we arrive at the suspension bridge over the Semois. Also a nice place to look around. After the suspension bridge, there is a steep climb through beautiful viewpoints. Then we cross the plateau via Corbion to Poupehan. Here we find two picnic tables at the statue of Mary on a lawn. We pass the campsites and later through the forest to the ladder walk. At the ladder walk we find a rock formation with a beautiful viewpoint. We are not now following the step of the ladder at the top, but descending lower. Here we sometimes have to climb and descend through rocks and roots. By a ladder, a bridge and some metal fences, we reach the bank of the Semois. We follow the Semois and go up a little later through forest and meadow to the parking lot of the giant's tomb.
