Attention: Make sure to wear appropriate footwear! Especially at the watercourse of the Oude Kale, the paths are very wet and often inaccessible with just walking shoes during the winter months.

September 2023: beware - inconvenience: From September 15 to November 1, 2023, a contractor will be cutting down Canada poplars in the Vinderhoutse forests at various locations. The mature poplars pose a danger to recreational users and the high-voltage line in many places. The logging works will be carried out along the Langendam, the Meirebeek, and under the Fluxys air pipeline. During the works, the work zone will be completely closed to all visitors for safety reasons. You can use the designated alternative routes and accesses. We thank you in advance for your understanding! In the autumn of 2024, work will then begin on the recreational development of the Vinderhoutse Bossen.
