Although its valley is heavily urbanized, the Woluwe still flows largely in the open air, through many green areas that have been preserved, some of which even have Natura 2000 status due to the fauna and flora that inhabit them. The Woluwe is your guide on this walk in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe that leads through various parks, nature reserves, forests, and former rural areas, while also introducing you to a number of remarkable buildings. • The municipality of Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe manages the Malou and the Bronnenpark and the associated ponds. It is also the owner of Malou Castle and the windmill, which can be visited.

• Leefmilieu Brussel is responsible for the management of the Woluwe and its tributaries. The service monitors water quality and flow rate and is responsible for maintenance works in the riverbed and on the banks.
