Neuhausen ob Eck is located on the ridge of the Hegaualb, the southern foothills of the Swabian Jura, between the Danube Valley and Hegau, about ten kilometers east of the district town of Tuttlingen, with which the municipality forms a cooperative administrative community. The high plateau is referred to as Die Eck, Ecke, or Egg.
