Wetten is a village with about 2600 inhabitants belonging to the municipality of Kevelaer in the Lower Rhine region, Germany. It is located just southeast of this city belonging to the district of Kleve in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The population is predominantly Catholic, because this area once belonged to the Spanish Netherlands. The place was first mentioned in writing in 1154 and therefore celebrated its 850th anniversary in 2004. In the northeast of the village flows the Niers.
