Follow the lion!
The historical audio city tour is an interesting way to discover and experience the Hermann Hesse and half-timbered town of Calw.
You walk past 26 stations along the rich history of the town and learn lots of interesting background information about working, living and dwelling in earlier times. The historical city tour is well signposted. Simply follow the signs and symbols with the lion. This way, you can easily get from station to station.

In addition to the brief information on the plaques on the individual buildings, we recommend our audio city tour. You can easily download the MP3 file to your smartphone by scanning the QR code on the individual buildings and then click on and play the audio files, allowing you to be guided acoustically through the town on the trail of Calw's historical past.
