The St. Kilian's Church in Lügde and the Kirchbergweg are closely linked to the mountain villages of the Pyrmonter Hochebene. Regularly, the believers descended into the valley to reach the church, which represented the main church for them.
Today, the Kirchbergweg partly follows the path that the believers used, giving an idea of the efforts they made to attend the church services in Lügde.
At the top of the Kirchberg, beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding valley await. The circular hiking trail also offers relaxing insights into nature and plenty of peace, away from the roads.
With its moderate level of difficulty, the Kirchbergweg is also a charming experience for inexperienced hikers.
