Floing is a French commune with 2,313 inhabitants in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region. The commune belongs to the Arrondissement of Sedan and the Canton of Sedan-2. Floing is located as a suburb immediately north of Sedan near the Belgian border. The Meuse flows along the western municipal boundary. Floing is surrounded by the neighboring communes of Saint-Menges to the north, Fleigneux to the northeast, Illy to the northeast and east, Sedan to the east and south, and Glaire to the southwest and west.
