The Great North Way runs for approx. 50 miles (80 km), from Hadley Wood in the south to Letchworth Garden City in the north, passing through the towns of Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage.
The route is fully signposted, and consists of on-road advisory sections and shared traffic-fee tracks.
