If you are an art lover, there was a meeting in Florence you would have loved to be in, here in Florence: the famous meeting on January 25, 1504 linked to the statue of David. The question was "Where should be the location of Michelangelo's David?". It was famous because so many important people attended that meeting. The most famous artists of the Renaissance discussed that issue that day including Leonardo da VInci, Michelangelo, Bottocelli , Rosselli, Filippino Lippi and Piero di Cosimo. The meeting took place a few yards of the current Uffizi Gallery.
