In 1963, a number of post-war area expansions were returned to Germany, but the Duivelsberg remained the property of the Netherlands. The pancake restaurant of the same name has had a catering function since at least 1900. At Der Teufelsberg, hikers had a drink and posted a postcard, with German stamps and postmarks. The saying on a beam at the entrance, "Geh ein und aus, bleib treu am haus" is still visible today. The pancake house on the Duivelsberg is still a tourist location. This is where the Roman Limespad, Grote Rivierenpad, Pieterpad and Streekpad Nijmegen come together.
